Perseverance By Practicing Gratitude
Do you know that thing where people ask you where you wanna be in X number of years from today? Well, that really hit us this month in particular for one very special reason.
This past month marked 5 years since we made a decision that we like to call ‘The Catalytic Moment of Our Professional Lives.’ For now, you can only read about it on our Patreon but we hope to someday make a full video about that experience to share far and wide! This moment early in our relationship eventually paved the way for us to not only start Nush & Doza but our whole creative and entrepreneurial journey as well.
It was a reminder to us that even if things seem like the worst and everything is crashing down around you, or that you feel uncertain about your present or future - just know that you will get through it and persevere. Instead of dwelling on what you can’t control, work on your goals, do what you love, and live your best life daily no matter what while practicing gratitude.
It’s easier said than done of course, but you’d be surprised what you’re capable of!

Here are some things that happened in this past month, August 2022:
Returned to streaming 3 nights a week on YouTube with a new schedule!
Got to host some amazing friends for dinner and catch up after months of not seeing them
Got a car wash only to have it get immediately covered in construction dust
Wrapped up our 4th Anniversary sale featuring the Glob Arcade design - thank you so much to everyone who supported it and got some swag!
Finally completed a redesign and upgrade of a client’s website that we have been working on for over 6 months
Had a couple of recording sessions with some awesome Globs for some upcoming collaborative videos and live streams
Games we played: Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, TLOZ: Skyward Sword, Overwatch, and MultiVersus
Movies we watched: Wedding Season, Lightyear, The Spongebob SquarePants Movie (Nush’s first time), Clueless (Doza’s first time)
Shows we’ve been watching: Season 3 of Never Have I Ever, the final season of Locke & Key, Partner Track, Pretty Little Liars Original Sin
Books we’ve been reading: Nothing Like I Imagined (Except for Sometimes) by Mindy Kaling, I Will Teach You to Be Rich by Ramit Sethi
Got a limited edition Netflix x Never Have I Ever x Live Tinted set that celebrates diversity!

Last, but certainly not least, we celebrated 5 years of a decision that continues to positively impact our lives, and just gets better and better as we age, that we are beyond grateful for!
