Turning Frustration Into Motivation
Throughout life, we encounter countless challenges, setbacks, and moments of frustration that can easily discourage us and impede our progress. However, in those moments, we must find the strength and resilience to deal with whatever it is head-on by shifting our mindset and viewing it as an opportunity for growth. As we continue to take stock and intentionally reflect on our journey each month, it has become evident that one of the most empowering choices we can make is to turn frustration into motivation and refuse to let life's obstacles hinder us from pursuing what we love.
We're reminded how quickly things can change in just one year with the right mindset and putting in the necessary work. Last year, almost exactly 365 days ago, we were dealing with a catastrophic event that completely turned our lives upside down on top of already being spread too thin in other aspects of our lives. One singular event, and its catalytic ramifications, caused us to take the longest hiatus from our passion project of Nush & Doza, which has always been a huge source of happiness for us. While we initially did allow the frustration from this life event to consume us, we eventually recognized that we needed to channel that negative energy toward something out of our control and into something positive in our control.
Life will always throw things our way when we least expect it, especially when pursuing one's passion which is rarely a smooth or linear path. It's one filled with ups and downs, unexpected detours, and moments when we question our abilities to our detriment. It's easy to give up in these moments by building up walls to guard our hearts against more negative feelings. Often the solution is to cautiously move forward by living a more predictable and stable life that might feel safer. Yet, it is precisely during these times that our passion and determination can flourish. Instead of surrendering to frustration and letting these life events derail us from our dreams, we can choose to rise above it, using it as fuel to propel us forward. These not-so-great moments can be the stepping stones toward success rather than roadblocks. And sure, there will be more failures, further betrayals, disappointments, and more, but we must find the strength to persist, learn from the experience, and grow ever more resilient with each hurdle despite the source of the frustration.
It is through this shift in perspective that we can unlock levels of our potential and push ourselves beyond what we thought was possible. Don't let the ramifications and feelings from any singular event or person derail you, dampen your spirits, or define you. You are capable of turning frustration into motivation. Don't let anyone or anything stand in the way of doing what you love. Harness your frustration as a catalyst and ignite that light of motivation within you to pursue your dreams with unwavering commitment. Forge a path of intentional evolution and push the boundaries of what you can achieve.
It's through this mindset shift and reflection that we're now gratefully celebrating one of the most prosperous months in our journey to date that we hope continues to propel us towards a life filled with purpose, happiness, and more joy in doing what we love!
